Anti-bedsore cushions prevent the appearance of bedsores or decubitus ulcers in bodies that remain immobile for a long period of time. Excessive bone pressure deprives the support points of the body of blood, and therefore of oxygen, which causes a reddening of the pressure zone and, later, a destruction of the skin and deep wounds.
